Walking Thoughts

8/16 approx midnight EST
A couple of hours ago, an RA from
cedarville collapsed while playing
soccer. he has since been taken to the
local hospital, but the last word i
heard was that they are unable to keep
his heartbeat stable. they tried using
the defib in the ambulance to help
regulate his heart, but things do not
look well at this point. please be
praying for jonathan (j.d.) taylor. i
will pass along any updates i receive
when i can..im expecting news early
this upcoming morning.

thanks for your continued prayers

the latest news hasn't been good for
jd. he is still in a coma and is
having an increased number of
seizures. the doctors told his parents
today that it is reaching the point
where it could be weeks before he
wakes up. certainly this news had to
be crushing to the parents and
family. continue to pray for their
encouragement.

also pray for emotional strength and
wisdom. jd's sister and dad are
both in the national guard. his sister
is in a program that requires her
to complete certain training or she
will be dropped from the program and
she is really struggling with whether
or not to go. the father will have
to leave soon too and won't be able to
come back until after labor day.
pray for the mom during a difficult
and lonely time. also, due to the
strong possibility that jd may not
wake up for some time, the family is
considering having him moved to
philadelphia to make it easier on
themselves since they are from
morrisville, pa.

Received today at 9:00 am

i heard the other night that the
doctors are giving jd a 20% chance to
wake up..leaving an 80% chance that he
won't. while the news is
discouraging, as a great friend of
mine said, "God doesn't care about
percentages". amen?!? amen! there is a
100% chance that if God says to
jd, "wake up", he will wake up. so
lets pray to that end, that the One
who created and knows our bodies
better than any medical program or
specialist could ever, would perform a
great miracle in this kid's life.

Please keep a girl named Erica in prayer. She is turning 21 in a couple of days and the doctors say it will be her last birthday. She found out in August that she has leukemia and now has 6 months to live. She is living her fullest for the Lord and in encouragement to others. Please pray for Erica and for her family.

hi. thanks for the site. i have exams this week, that will continue until after the new year. am kind of on edge because school broke off for a month and a half following a teachers strike, and we just resumed to sit the finals. Please pray for God to increase my faith in His ability to see me through every paper and practical... its imperative that i pass. For the glory of His name.

Please pray for a friend of mine who was in a bad car wreck. She hurt her arm very badly. Please pray that God would let her faith shine through the midst of this trial, and, if He is willing to, to give her complete divine healing for His glory.

Pray for Jessica. She is 28 years old and has waited (not dated) for the right husband. God has brought someone in. I pray for their protection as they ask for His guidance. Give them a Godly love for each other.

Pray for my new business to take off in a dramatic way. I want to enlist the "Mind of Christ" as I study and work to be my own boss (with Jesus as Head).

Pray for a husband for me.
